I see therapy as a space where you can slow down, reflect, and find support when life feels overwhelming or out of balance. People enter therapy for all sorts of reasons: depression, anxiety, grief, relationship strain, burnout, or just a sense that something’s off. Maybe you’re navigating a major life transition, rethinking your direction or values, or feeling plagued by uncomfortable thoughts and feelings that won’t go away. You may feel like you overreact to everyday stressors or respond in ways you don’t understand but can’t figure out how to change.
I collaborate with my clients to explore what’s behind these patterns, reconnect with what matters to you, and begin making choices that feel more intentional. Our work might involve making small, practical changes that bring meaningful relief to your everyday life. Or, we may start to explore emotions that haven’t had space before, making room for them to loosen their grip and free you to move forward. Our goal is for you to be able to live in a way that is fulfilling and authentic to the person you truly are.
When working with couples, I use an emotionally focused (EFT) approach to help partners feel safer and begin to reconnect on a deeper level. I also use Gottman-informed strategies to support clearer communication and effective conflict repair. We look at the patterns that keep you stuck and work toward building a relationship where both of you feel heard, valued, and supported.
