I have served the community as a paramedic for over two decades, in addition to graduating with honors with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saint Bonaventure University. I hold an additional certification in ICIFS Group Crisis Intervention. During my career, I have written and presented on mental trauma in first responders at CLINCON EMS conference in Orlando, Florida and co-authored and co-presented on psychological injury in first responders at Valencia State College Professional Learning Day. My treatment specialties include Trauma and PTSD, Grief and bereavement, and working with first responders and their families.
As your therapist, I offer an unbiased and safe atmosphere. I apply skills-based strategies, with a dedication to providing personalized and confidential support. By combining evidence-based practices, I will work to provide you with the tools and resources to combat high levels of occupational and personal stress. Presently, I use Cognitive Processing and Behavioral therapies, elements of Narrative therapy, and Mindfulness strategies to support my client’s healing journey.
