Lauren is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master's student at Southern New Hampshire University. After successfully completing Practicum, she is thrilled to continue her advanced internship experience at Bodhi Tree Mental Health Counseling.
Beginning at an early age, Lauren has always had a passion for helping others, and in turn, doing what she can to make the world a better place, which has led her to her work as a mental health counselor. She is eager to embark on a collaborative journey of self-actualization, empowerment, and inner peace with each one of her clients.
She gathers from an eclectic therapeutic focus that primarily gathers from client-centered and Humanistic integrative approaches that wholesomely and comprehensively meet her clients at their current stage of life to facilitate the inner growth she knows everyone is capable of. Values such as mindfulness, creativity, and nature are also infused within her counseling space. Lauren's youthful attitude, authenticity, humor, individual experiences, as well as her passion for adolescent mental health, give her an intimate understanding of youth culture, which she uses to form genuine connections with her clients, especially adolescents and children.
Lauren highly values appropriate counseling practices and will dedicate her counseling experience to ensuring clients are given quality, ethical, competent, and secure care. Her previous background of over 3 years in healthcare as a Medical Practice Patient Representative has influenced her strong values of privacy, evidence-based interventions, and promotion of accessible care to others, no matter what their background is.
She is here to listen to your struggles, successes, fears, and beliefs without judgment in a safe, supportive environment. She welcomes the opportunity to connect further with anyone seeking counseling services to provide support on their journey to wellness, and in turn, make this world a better place.
