Managing your mental health is equally as important as caring for your physical health. I want to be apart of helping you care for your mental health. I believe therapy is a collaborative effort between a therapist and the client where we work together to set goals, consider solutions, and find ways to adapt to whatever your circumstances may be. With my kind, direct, and empathetic approach to counseling I will always strive to help you feel your best, overcome your challenges, and manage those day to day circumstances that can just feel like too much at times. I value the privilege you are allotting me by letting me into your deepest thoughts, and most painful experiences. I also understand the level of trust that requires and the importance of the relationship we must build in order to work together to help you with your needs.
I am here for whatever it is you may be dealing with. I look forward to working with all genders, ages, individuals, couples, families, and groups as well. My education has prepared me for the task of assisting you and working with all populations. I will help you work through your past experiences, your current circumstances, and gain tools to manage your symptoms in the future. We will set out goals together and formulate a plan to make those goals achievable through the work we do together.
Every client has their own specific needs and experiences that they are seeking assistance for so my approach to counseling is dependent on those needs. Some counseling theories I apply in my work with clients are Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, among many others.
I am here to listen to your fears, struggles, beliefs, and triumphs and provide you a safe, secure, and supportive environment to share those details.
