My name is Constandena (Dena) Prickett, and I am a graduate student pursuing my Master's degree in ClinicalMental Health Counseling at Southern New Hampshire University. As an intern, I am passionate about creating a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.
I welcome and work with individuals from all backgrounds and identities, and strive to create an LGBTQ+ affirming and inclusive space. I am especially drawn to supporting individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, emotional challenges, and substance use. My path into the counseling field is deeply personal, shaped by my own experiences, which allow me to connect with clients through authenticity, empathy, and a deep understanding of the healing process.
My counseling approach is eclectic, integrating humanistic, person-centered, and psychodynamic perspectives. I believe that each person’s story matters and that healing happens through connection, self-exploration, and compassion. I value building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship and strive to meet clients where they are, walking alongside them at their own pace.
I feel truly honored to be part of my clients’ journeys as they move toward healing, growth, and a deeper sense of self.
